Hello! Thank you for checking out my blog. My name is Pam Yates and I am quite literally ‘domestic by nature’. I am excited to be able to share some of my thoughts and projects with you here. My goal is to craft functional creations for the home. Firstly, I am most proud to be a wife, mom and especially nana. I am a Jill of many skills and a mistress of none. As it turns out all of my inspirations and interest revolve around the home, hence the name of my blog. I am a woodworker and fiber artist. I enjoy writing, fishing, kayaking, horseback riding, hiking and gardening. I also have a strong interest in alternative healing, meditation, spirituality, and sustainable living.
